Where it all began
Founded by Gareth & Valerie Roberts in 1992, Salons Direct is a husband and wife mail order team that packs orders from their living room. There was no warehouse, all the stock was stored in their house, even their bedroom! 17 years later, with the help of their 2 daughters Danielle and Gemma Salons Direct, they launched their first e-commerce website in 2009.
Where we are now
Since then Salon Direct has grown to become the UK’s largest online supplier to the professional hair and beauty industry, with over 15,000 products from some of the biggest brands in the industry! Now located in a 72,000 sq ft warehouse and head office in Bromborough, Wirral, over 200,000 items are dispatched each month.
Our reliable next day delivery service and unrivalled range of professional products make us the one stop store for the professional hair and beauty industry. Despite the growth we have experienced, Salons Direct is still very much a family run business and we are very grateful to each and every one of our customers for their continued support over the years.
